Applications are invited from Male and Female Indian citizens who are ordinarily resident in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Kerala, Maharashtra and Gujarat for filling up the vacancies of Constables (Trade & Technical) in CRPF.

Candidates selected for appointment are liable to serve anywhere within as well as outside the Territory of India. 

Persons serving in Government/Semi Government departments should produce "No objection certificate" from their employer at the time of recruitment process ( i.e. at the time of STAGE-I : (PST/PET).


How to apply:

Eligible candidates can apply in prescribed format as available in the notification.

Application forms duly completed in all respects along with latest passport size photographs affixed, DD, two self addressed envelopes affixing postage stamps of Rs.22/- enclosed in an envelope super scribed with “Application for the Post of Constable (Technical/Tradesmen) in CRPF-2014-15″ should reach to the concerned authorities on or before 23 December 2013.

Selection process:

Height:

For Male candidates - 170 Cms.

For Female Candidates - 157 Cms.

Weight:

Proportionate/corresponding to height and age as per Medical standard

Candidates whose applications are accepted will be issued call letters by the Application Receiving Centres intimating place and date on which they are required to appear for the recruitment process. Stage-I of recruitment process will be different for posts of Constable (Driver & Fitter) from that of all other posts. However, remaining process/Stage will be same for all posts. 

Stage 1 - Physical Test

Stage 2 - Written Test

Stage 3.- Trade Test

Stage 4 - Medical Examination

Stage 5 - Drawal of final Merit List

Stage 6 - Final Selection


Education:

The candidate must have passed Matriculation or equivalent examination from a Board or University recognized by Central or State Government

Application Fee:

General and OBC male candidates need to pay the fee of Rs.50/- in the form of crossed IPO/ Demand Draft/ Banker's Cheque drawn in favor of the Deputy Inspector General of Police of concerned application receiving centre payable/ encashable at Post Office/ Bank where the application receiving centre is situated. 

Male candidates belonging to SC/ ST Categories, Female candidates and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from payment of fee.

Age description:

Age of candidate should be in between 18 to 23 Years as on 01/01/2014.
